Bindle allows you to either upload a self-attested version of your vaccine record or to ingest a QR code from a supported provider to automatically import your vaccination information into the My Bindle app.
In order to do this, navigate to the “My Certificates” page and click on the + sign and select "COVID-19 Vaccines".
From there, you’ll be asked to confirm your name and then select either the self-attestation option ("Record Details") or import your vaccination information from a QR code ("Auto Import").
Self-Attestation: You'll be prompted to input your information and upload an image/document. If it’s a multi-dose vaccine, you should create a record for each dose. Bindle Systems allows venues to decide if they are willing to accept these self-attested records as part of their health screening policy.
Auto Import: If you received your vaccination from an entity that has provided you with a QR code containing your vaccination information, you can use the Auto Import feature to easily add this with the My Bindle app.
Simply select which entity provided you with the QR record.
Then either scan the QR code with the My Bindle app or select an image containing the QR and the app will do the rest!
Be aware that your name in the My Bindle app must match the name associated with the vaccine record from your provider. This is a security measure to ensure that the vaccination information is legitimate and not associated with another person.
Please note: If you don't see your provider in this list, check back soon -- we're adding new providers regularly, though you will likely want to use the self-attestation option described above if your event is coming up soon. You can also send us a note at email@example.com to let us know which providers QR code you're trying to use and we'll make sure to add it to our list of supported providers in a future release.
